In the neighborhood of Hazrat Bayazeed Bastami (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) a Jew lived. One night in the neighboring house a child cried all night. In the morning he stood ad knocked on door. A woman from inside called out that there is no man in the house , Hazrat Bayazeed Bastami (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) introduced himself and asked about her wellbeing. Jewish woman told her husband has been away for moths and has been travelling. Meanwhile a child was born from her and it cries whole night. He asked the reason for crying of the baby. The woman replied that there is dark in the house always and no one is there to bring the oil and there is no money. My husband had placed food in the house before going and that’s how I am surviving. Hazrat immediately returned to the house and brought everything required for daily need for that woman. And before it was time for evening the man of the house returned.
